It is Adonis stunning beauty and sweet brown eyes that stopped us in our tracts at the shelter. This dog was simply drop dead gorgeous and although we were as full as can be when we saw him, we just couldn't leave such beautiful boy there to die. Stunningly Beautiful We could immediately tell that Adonis previous life was no picnic. The dog's condition indicated at least one bad dog fight. We think it might have been intentional. Maybe he was not good enough in the pit and it would explain why he was abandoned. Sitting pretty | Great ambassador In any case, Adonis has put all this behind him already and quickly moved on. Not only is he gorgeous outside, but this dog has an amazing inner beauty as well. He truly is an exceptional dog. Cute Boy | Cool dude | "Wasup?"

Adonis is a total love with people. This sweetheart could spend hours laying his big head on your lap for some loving. He adores people and wants to be next to someone at all time. He is so good with people that he is our PR dog at adoption events. He thrives on attention and his sweet nature has everyone falling in love with him big time. We just cant get over how great he is. In the tub! Adonis is very laid back, mellow, and quite gentle for a dog his size. He has been exposed to kids of all ages and has an excellent behavior around them, provided they don't mind kisses. He should make an excellent family companion. We do prefer a privacy fence for this boy. He is so beautiful that he's at great risk of being stolen if left unattended outside. If Adonis was a celebrity, he'd be Brad Pitt At first we were not sure if Adonis could ever live with another dog, but he has made amazing progress since his rescue. He is now fostered in a home with 2 other dogs and does wonderful with them. This dog is so laid back and easy-going that not much bothers him. He could probably go in a home with another dog, but a younger and very friendly female is preferred. He is very much a people-dog though, and could also do great in a home as an only pet provided he has a lot of attention and love.. Although he is fostered in a home with cats, he is not fond of them. Adonis sit | Happy Grin | Adonis Stands | Life is hard... Adonis' beauty is stunning. The old scars from his previous life are gone and he looks amazing. He is quite large for a Pit Bull, but very well proportioned. His head is huge and he's got the sweetest eyes.... Those pictures don't do him justice what so ever and make him look more serious than he is in person. Adonis is just big baby who loves to be loved on and hugged. Good Boy | What a Face! | Happy Adonis There is just not enough good things we could say about this boy. We cant wait until Adonis finds the right home with someone willing to understand his past, respect his needs and potential, and give him all the love he craves.
