Kong is a wonderful dog! He has become a favorite with MPR, as he is such a fun-loving boy with a charming personality. Kong is passionate about playing, especially fetching his "kong" toy, hence his name. If you are looking for a very playful dog with a great attitude towards life, Kong's the man... He's also quite the loverboy. Serious Kong | Not so serious | Gorgeous head Good Afternoon, hey just wanted to let you know how Kong's first week went. First I am going to keep his name Kong, that fits him way too good to change it. He plays with his kong toy everyday for hours in his backyard. Saturday he got to go fishing with us and he seemed to like it, however he was upset because he could not get off the rope. He has been out with my female 2 times now, and has done great with her. He enjoys his food and has done good with it. Everybody that has seen him can't believe what a sweetheart he is. I want to thank you guys again for him and I enjoy him very much. Breathtaking Boy Kong would do better with experienced owners, and someone who can provide positive leadership and a structured environment. Kong should have a large fenced yard so he can release his energy, preferably with a 6 foot privacy fence. He is not hyper, but very athletic and always ready for action. Kong Climbing a tree | Cute Face Kong is a friendly boy who loves to meet new people. He looks pretty intimidating but in reality he is outgoing and very sociable. While Pit Bulls often don't make very good guard dogs, Kong might be a pretty good thief deterrent with his looks alone, provided an individual with bad intentions is not coming for him. Did I mentioned also that he is absolutely gorgeous? This dog turns heads everywhere he goes and he loves it. A true Beauty | Happy Guy | All Smiles | "Enough pictures! Lets play now!!" Kong will need a responsible and mature owner, willing to deal the strong impression a dog like him could make with people that are uncomfortable with the breed. He is a responsive dog, and would greatly benefit from dog-training so he can be a gentleman in public. Halloween Kong | Kong Wink | Relaxin' Kong Kong knows a few commands, is very smart and quick to learn. His ears were cropped very short, which makes him look even more intimating. People usually warm up to him pretty quickly though, due to his friendly and fun-loving personality. Kong is also very affectionate and he loves to cuddle on the couch next to someone. He is very easygoing and responsive. Cute Boy | King Kong | Kong Sit | Kong with kong Kong has been introduced to some young a friendly female dog and did great with them. However, Kong may not share toys very well so we think he should be an only pet, or go in a home with very experienced owners that will assure strict supervision. No cats please! Kong's passion for fetching is untiring. We are working on the release command right now and he is doing good. Kong is also completely housebroken, doesn't chew his bedding, loves his crate, and enjoys comfort of pillows and cushions. He also enjoys car rides. What he loves most though, is someone to play with or someone to cuddle with. Kong Waiting for his forever home | And Waiting... Kong's whole body wags when he's happy. This boy sure is a lot of fun and promises to be an outstanding companion. "Please make room for me in your life..."
