Hello all at MPR!!! We love PD Rascal soooo much!!! He has finally decided that this is home and accepted Hilda our Rotty, as a sister!  He spends much of the warm days outside in his fenced back yard with his varied amount of toys and his trampoline.  He likes to lay on the tramp and sun himself or he sits at the fence and watches my husband work on the yard.

I will be glad when we get the perimeter of the front yard fenced so he can be loose in the front with us and off the lead.  He is doing great on the lead with me.  It is like he knows that I have a hurt back.  If Lisa has the lead though he will try to drag her all around.  When in the house he has calmed down considerably, in fact his favorite place is in my recliner with me.  That's how we take naps.  Hilda will sleep beside my chair with us :-} Shh don't tell daddy.

Our next integration will be to train him to sleep in Lisa's room without chewing up every thing in sight.  I think that issue is more because he does not think of her as the leader but of an equal, IE for play.

Good looking Rascal | Funny Face

This is one happy-go-lucky boy! Rascal's spirit is unbreakable. This poor dude had already been living in a kennel for over a year, waiting for someone to finally give him a chance, when we took him in. He seems to really like his new home at the boarding facility, but we can tell this dog longs for a family of his own. In the meantime, he tries to make the best out of what life gives him.

Rascal has a great sense of humor and is a very funny dog. He loves to make people laugh and is always looking for new funny antics to do. He's quite the clown! He is very friendly and a real wiggle butt. His whole body wags with his tail when he's happy. He's always in a good mood.
