From Waylon's new "dad"

Thus far everything is going great with Waylon. He follows me around EVERYWHERE I go - he won't let me out of his sight. He seems to listen very well. So far I have noticed that he understands "sit" and "lay down" and possibly "car ride" (that may be just an accident - and he just understands my tone of voice). When someone new comes through the door - he will look at me first - I tell him it's ok - Then he proceeds to get excited and greet them.

Waylon is also a ladies man - and that's a plus for me. Him and I went to petsmart sunday and he went in with me - And apparently the ladies like the way he looks - cause 4 different ones came up to me and started talking to me. The 4th and final one that came up and talked to me - worked out quite well - I may just have a "date" of sorts set up for friday evening!!!! This dog is great- did I mention that yet!!?? ;-)

Anyway- I will keep you posted on him as well as send a few pictures from time to time.

Thanks
Josh Davis

December 27, 2006: Update from Waylon's "dad"

Waylon is still doing well - spoiled as ever. He's still the ladies man he always was. He is currently juggling two ladies. My parents German Shephard (Bailey) as well the the pit-mix (Lilly) that my current girlfriend owns. Lilly is a little more Waylons speed - she's quite a bit younger and able to keep up with him for extended play dates.

When I get home this evening - I will try to get a few recent pictures together and send them out.

4/3/2010 UPDATE:

Waylon is doing well- running the show as usual. Waylon's girlfriends are also doing well. The black one (Lilly) is my wife's dog and the brindle is Annie. Annie belonged to an ex-girlfriend of 6 years ago who was moving and couldn't take Annie with her. My plan was to foster her and try to find a home since I already had two dogs. I'm sure you all know how this played out......she became one of the crew and my wife and I became her new forever home.

Good Looking Boy

Meet Waylon-the-beautiful..! He's a young male with an adorable personality and great disposition. He is stunning looking in person and his pictures are far from doing him justice. It's impossible to capture the beauty of his amazing coat color. This is a dog you have to meet in persons.

Waylon was rescued from a difficult situation but has put all this behind him already. You can ready his sotry here: OPERATION RESCUE

Since his rescue, Waylon has been introduced to other dogs, kids, and cats and is great with everyone. He does like to roughhouse and he needs to be supervised with other dogs. He is currently fostered in a home with two female dogs and adores both of them.

His pictures make him look serious, but in reality Waylon is quite the goofball and always in a good mood. He really enjoys making new friends and he is especially fond of men. He is affectionate but he prefers playing than cuddling.

Waylon needs structure and will do better with an owner who can assure positive leadership. He is still very much a pup although he is learning good manners in his foster home. Waylon is a very good looking dog and should never be left unattended outside or he could get stolen.

Gorgeous Waylon

We hope Waylon will find a home soon as we are completely full. We just could not leave him in this abandoned yard without food and adequate shelter. This boy has been through enough already, and we cant wait until he finds a loving home where he will never have to worry about missing a meal again and sleeping outside in the cold.
