WELCOME TO PITBULL-L Pitbull-L is a mailing list dedicated to discussions related to any Pit Bull type dog, including the American Pit Bull Terriers (APBTs), the American Staffordshire Terriers (AmStaffs), and dogs having these breeds in their ancestry (Pit Mixes). PitBull-L is one of the resources offered by PITBULLS ON THE WEB but is not to be confused with the other services provided by this media, such as PBRC and Pet Pit Bull site. They are three separate entities and being a member of PitBull-L doesn't make anyone a member of PBRC, or vice and versa.

PitBull-L is an high volume, 500 members mailing list, created June 7th 1998. Subscription is free and opened to everyone with no age limit.

The forum is a great place to meet other Pit Bull people, as well as to learn about the breed and responsible ownership. The participants are a nice mix of dog owners, rescuers, professionals, homemakers, dog trainers, students, veterinarians, etc. We trade stories, training tips, breed-Info, pictures, health concerns, and the day to day activities of our lives with these great dogs.

Pitbull-L is a forum where people are free to ask any questions regarding Pit Bull dogs. The list facilitates an exchange of knowledge and personal experience between Pit Bull fanciers and new or future owners.

We demand that participants respect the list's orientation (described in the subscription's page), and that conversations remain polite and constructive.

Even though we occasionally talk about pit fighting in order to understand the real nature and genetic background of this wonderful breed, PitBull-L members do not participate, encourage or support in any way this very cruel and illegal activity. Pro gamedogs advocates are not welcome in this list. If your interest in the breed is limited or oriented towards matching, gametesting, rolling, or any other form of dog fighting, you will not find a sympathetic ear among the members of the Pitbull-L. Several other lists on the Internet may be more suited for your needs.
